Last updated: 18 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000. The Data Fiduciary responsible for your data is AT Labs (brand: AT Astro), a sole proprietorship owned by Adarsh, GSTIN 29DWCPA2194C1ZU, No 49, 3rd Cross, Gnanajyothi Nagar, Chikkabanavara Main Road, Opp. Acharya College, Chikkabanavara Post, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka 560090, India.

In short: we collect only what we need to make and deliver what you ordered, we never sell your data, we use no advertising or tracking cookies, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time.

1. What we collect and why

DataWhy we need it
Name, date, time and place of birth (and your partner's or child's, if you order for them); gender; questions and past events you choose to shareTo calculate the chart and write the report or daily horoscope you ordered
Your name, email, state, and WhatsApp number if you give itTo send the report, invoice and order updates, and answer your messages. Your state decides the GST type on the invoice.
UPI transaction ID (UTR), amount and dateTo confirm your payment, issue a GST invoice, process refunds and keep accounts required by tax law
Current city (daily horoscope only)To work out sunrise, Rahu kaal and muhurat times for where you live
Messages you send usTo answer you and resolve complaints

We do not ask for your bank account, card or UPI PIN, Aadhaar, PAN or any government ID. Your UPI payment happens inside your own UPI app; we only see the amount, the UTR and the payer name shown in our bank records.

2. Consent

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give on the order form, for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. If you withdraw before your report is delivered we will stop work and refund you as per the Refund policy; after withdrawal we delete the data, except what the law requires us to keep (see section 5).

3. Children

Our services are for adults. A Baby Name report or a report about a child under 18 can only be ordered by the child's parent or legal guardian, whose consent covers the child's details. We do not track children or use their data for anything other than the report ordered.

4. Who processes your data for us

We do not sell, rent or share your data for marketing. To run the service we use these processors, under their own security and privacy terms:

  • Google (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Apps Script): sending emails and storing orders and invoices
  • Cloudflare: hosting this website
  • Our bank and UPI payment provider (Paytm Payments Services): receiving payments

Some of these providers may store data on servers outside India, in countries not restricted by the Government of India. We may also disclose data when required by law, a court order or a government authority (for example the GST department).

5. How long we keep it

  • Birth details and report files: up to 12 months after delivery (so we can re-issue or correct a report), then deleted. For the daily horoscope, up to 12 months after your plan ends. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Invoices and payment records (name, state, email, amount, UTR, invoice): kept for 8 years, because the GST law requires accounts to be kept for 72 months after the annual return due date. These are not used for anything else.
  • Messages and complaints: up to 3 years.

6. Security

Orders and invoices are stored in a Google account protected by a strong password and two-step verification, accessible only to the owner. The website uses HTTPS. No method is perfectly secure, but if a breach affecting you ever happens we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

7. Cookies and your device

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. The order page saves your unfinished order in your own browser's local storage, so you do not lose it while paying in a UPI app. It never leaves your device unless you submit it, and you can clear it from your browser settings.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used, and with whom it is shared;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
  • ask us to erase it (except records we must keep by law);
  • withdraw your consent;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to;
  • complain to our Grievance Officer, and if you are not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.

Email atastro.in@gmail.com from the address you ordered with. We reply within 48 hours and complete requests within 30 days.
